Answer:
Save your money...most brokers require at least $500 to open an account. Also, be prepared to lose the entire $100 (you may or may not, but you should always be prepared to lose it all). You need to head down to the public library and get a book on basic personal finances and then one on the stock market. After you understand the market and risks involved, then get a book on analyzing stocks.
Need for more money man. Minimum to open account in $500 + 18 years old age.
Also, buying stocks will cost you commission $5 - $15 depending on the broker, and the same for selling them.
So, if you want to put your $100 in some stock, this will take long long time to make profits to cover the commission only. No use to invest in $100.
Try to make $5000.
Need to learn stock trading rules.
Need to learn financial statistics about the stock you want to buy.
I would advice buying shares of APPLE, FORD, CHEVRON.
APPLE is at $493 as of yesterday. The Price is changing every day.
In North America you must be 18 years of age to buy stock in your name. You can not open a broerkage account until you are 18
If you do not know what stocks are, you are not ready to buy them.
Before you spend $0.01 you should know what you're doing. why you're doing it and how to do it.
Also you can not open a brokerage account with only $100
