My advice: Get "Real money, Sane investing in an insane world". Great book for beginnners and entertaining also .... ebook or paperback is only $12 - $15 when I bought it.

Just start following it, cnbc talks about stocks and trades the rates, both on television and their website, and thestreet.com is an investment site that has articles and videos about investment news, recommendations etc. You wont know everything at first, but overtime you will start to understand more and hopefully come to like it.
Get the dummy books. "investing for dummys" Trading for Dummys"
Don't do investing right now. Read the book first, paper trade first, thats an easier lesson then losing with real money :)
